Our Pay What You Want events bring together great food, surprise menus and a unique dining experience.
Guests are selected at random from our waiting list and invited to join us at Eat Street HQ with a guest.
You’ll enjoy a surprise menu created by our chefs, with a full bar available throughout the evening, before anonymously deciding what the experience was worth to you.
No fixed menu price. Just great food and complete trust.
How Pay What You Want Works

We draw names
For each evening, we randomly select four guests from the list

Each successful applicant receives an invitation for themselves and a guest
Enjoy the experience
Join us at Eat Street HQ for a surprise multi-course dining experience featuring seasonal ingredients and creative menus.
Pair with a tipple
Enjoy our bar, with some locally selected beers and spirits
Pay what you want
At the end of the evening, you'll anonymously pay whatever you feel the experience was worth to you.
Why We Introduced Pay What You Want
Pay What You Want allows Alex to do what he loves most: cook creatively without limitations.
It gives us a chance to experiment, showcase new ideas and create memorable evenings while making incredible dining experiences accessible to a wider audience.
The concept is built entirely on trust. We trust our guests to pay what they feel the experience was worth, and in return we deliver an evening designed to exceed expectations.

Every event is different. The menu remains a surprise, the drinks are flowing, and at the end of the evening you’ll anonymously decide what the experience was worth to you.

Guests are chosen completely at random from our waiting list. We also have a reserve list of previous attendees
No. The menu remains a surprise until the evening
We’ll do our best where possible. Please tell us when registering your interest. Some evenings may not be suitable, but we’re happy to roll your seats over
No. We simply ask guests to contribute what they genuinely feel the experience was worth.
We’ve had some no shows before, and as it takes a lot of time and effort to prepare we want to ensure everyone is enjoying the experience at it’s fullest
Drinks are purchased separately from our fully stocked bar
We accept cash or card
Let us know as soon as possible. If we can resell your seats, we will. Otherwise, we’ll charge you and your guest £50 each
